The Touring Musician Who Became North Florida's Original DJ + Sax
Corey Peterson is the founder of COS Celebrations, based in St. Augustine, Florida. He started on piano at age four, picked up saxophone shortly after, and spent years touring professionally - performing on stages across six continents and sharing lineups with T-Pain, Alicia Keys, Usher, and Slightly Stoopid, among others. That background changes everything about how he approaches a wedding.
Where most DJs rely on pre-built playlists, Corey hears a room the way a musician hears a band. He knows when the energy is building, when it needs to breathe, and exactly when to push it over the edge. It is not a formula - it is instinct built from thousands of hours of live performance.
He founded COS Celebrations with his fiancee Kyle, and together they pioneered the DJ + live saxophone model in Northeast Florida. Today Corey leads a team of DJs and musicians across Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Amelia Island, Orlando, and beyond - and still performs regularly, because after 1,000 weddings the dance floor still gives him a rush.

Booking Corey & Working With Him
Can I request Corey specifically for my wedding?
Yes. Corey is the founder of COS Celebrations and still performs regularly, but his calendar fills first. When you book with COS, you can request Corey by name during your consultation. Peak season Saturdays in St. Augustine, Jacksonville, and Ponte Vedra book 12-18 months out.
Does Corey still DJ weddings or just run the company?
Corey still performs regularly. After 1,000 weddings, the dance floor still gives him a rush. He also personally trains every DJ on the COS roster - which is why the same musicianship and attention to detail shows up whether Corey is behind the booth or one of his DJs.
Does Corey play live saxophone at every wedding?
Live saxophone is included with Corey's DJ services when the couple wants it. Most do. He pioneered the DJ + live saxophone model in Northeast Florida because it changes the energy of a room in a way recordings cannot. If a couple prefers a straight DJ set, that is also an option.
What makes Corey different from other wedding DJs?
