How a Touring Musician Became North Florida's Most Sought-After Wedding DJ
Most wedding DJs got into the business through events. Corey got into it through music. He started on piano at age four, picked up saxophone shortly after, and spent years touring professionally - performing on stages across six continents and sharing lineups with some of the biggest names in music.
That background changes everything about how he approaches a wedding. Where other DJs rely on pre-built playlists and hope for the best, Corey hears a room the way a musician hears a band. He founded COS Celebrations with his fiancee Kyle, and together they pioneered the DJ + live saxophone model in Northeast Florida. The concept was simple: what if a wedding DJ could actually play music, not just press play? That idea became the foundation of everything COS does.
Today, Corey leads a team of DJs and musicians across Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Amelia Island, Orlando, and beyond. He still performs regularly - because after 1,000 weddings, the dance floor still gives him a rush. But he also spends time training every DJ on the COS roster, making sure the same musicianship and attention to detail shows up whether he is behind the booth or someone else on his team is.
