Check Availability Our ServicesThe Ribault Club is one of Jacksonville's most treasured historic venues - a stunning 1928 Spanish Mediterranean masterpiece on Fort George Island with breathtaking views of the St. Johns River. Built during the golden age of Florida's coastal resorts, this venue offers the kind of old-world elegance that simply can't be replicated. COS Celebrations is a preferred vendor at The Ribault Club, which means the venue's event team trusts us to deliver exceptional entertainment for their couples. We've performed numerous weddings in this historic space and understand how to complement its architectural beauty with sound and music that feels both timeless and celebratory. From ceremony setup overlooking the river to reception dancing in the grand hall, we know every corner of this venue. When you book COS for your Ribault Club wedding, you're choosing the entertainment partner the venue itself recommends.
COS Celebrations is a preferred vendor at The Ribault Club, the 1928 Maurice Fatio clubhouse inside Fort George Island Cultural State Park in Jacksonville, Florida. A Ribault Club wedding usually runs across three separate spaces - ceremony on the river lawn, cocktails on the covered veranda, dinner and dancing in the Grand Ballroom - so COS brings a dedicated sound system for each one instead of tearing down and moving a single rig twice during the night. Packages start at $1,500.
The Ribault Club includes us on their recommended vendor list for a reason. We've proven our ability to deliver exceptional entertainment that honors this historic venue.
Hard floors and a wall of glass make a room loud in all the wrong ways. We aim and level the ballroom system so the dance floor hits hard while the tables three feet away can still hold a conversation.
Imagine your first dance with live saxophone echoing through those historic arched windows with the river as your backdrop. It's a Ribault Club moment that becomes legendary.
Vendor access opens at 9:30am and the park still has day visitors until 5pm. We set and sound-check early, then stay out of the way while your florist and caterer work.

The Ribault Club is a 16,000-square-foot clubhouse designed by Swiss architect Maurice Fatio in 1928, sitting on 100 acres of waterfront parkland at the mouth of the St. Johns River. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned as part of Fort George Island Cultural State Park, which is why the grounds stay open to the public from 9am to 5pm Wednesday through Sunday and wedding vendors receive building access starting at 9:30am.
It was a members-only retreat for Jacksonville's wealthy in the twenties, and the building still behaves like one. Original terrazzo floors, fluted pilasters and arches, and thirty-six sets of French doors opening onto the natural landscape. The doors are the whole reason people book it - you get an indoor reception that feels outdoor, with the river and the oaks right there.
They are also the reason a lot of DJs struggle here. Glass and hard floors bounce everything, and the party spreads across the ballroom, the salons, and the lawn instead of staying in one room. That is a setup problem, not a playlist problem, and it is the part we solve before your first guest arrives.
Yes. COS Celebrations is a preferred vendor at The Ribault Club on Fort George Island, Jacksonville, Florida. We work directly with the venue's events team on sound placement, timing, and load-in so nothing about your day gets improvised.
DJ packages at The Ribault Club start at $1,500 for four hours. Most couples here land between $2,000 and $2,800, because this venue almost always needs ceremony coverage on the lawn plus reception sound in the ballroom, and many add live saxophone for cocktail hour on the veranda.
The full facility holds 350 guests seated or 400 cocktail-style. If you book part of the building, the Grand Ballroom with the North Salon seats 190 and the Dining Room with the South Salon seats 160. Outdoor ceremony space seats up to about 175.
At this venue, yes. Your guests move from the river lawn to the veranda to the ballroom, and a single system dragged between them means a gap in the music every time. We stage a dedicated system in each space and hand off between them, so the music never stops while people are walking.
We plan outdoor ceremonies here as self-powered. Instead of counting on outlet access at the ceremony site, we bring battery-powered ceremony sound and our own cable runs, which also keeps cords off a historic lawn. We bring small tents as well, to shield the gear from sun, weather, and whatever the oak canopy decides to drop on it.
COS Celebrations is based in St. Augustine and covers Fort George Island and greater Jacksonville with no travel fees. We are preferred vendors at The Ribault Club, Epping Forest Yacht Club, and Timuquana Country Club, with more than 500 five-star reviews across Northeast Florida.
